International Affairs
The Sámi Parliament carries out its international activities in cooperation with other Sámi organisations, including the Sámi Parliaments of Norway and Sweden, through the Sámi Parliamentary Council, as well as in collaboration with the Saami Council. Key partners also include other Indigenous peoples globally. The Sámi Parliament serves as an expert for the Finnish Government on matters concerning Indigenous peoples and works closely with various ministries on international issues.
