President of the Republic Alexander Stubb met with representatives of the Sámi Parliament at the Presidential Palace on the 29th of January 2026.

The meeting discussed, among other things, the implementation of the revised Sámi Parliament Act, the final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and the impact of climate change on the Arctic region and the living environment of the Sámi. President Stubb last met representatives of the Sámi Parliament in January 2025.
